Different Quality Grades of Paulownia Edge Glued BoardAA grade: Best paulownia wood materails with excellent sanding and polishing surface. Both face and back sides are without any knots, cracks or holes.
AB grade: A side has no knots,cracks or holes. B side just has some small healthy live knots.
CC Grade: CC grade paulownia boards are of the lowest quality level and the price is also the lowest one accordingly. These boards usually could be used as Fillings or core materials. The surface of the boards is well polished and sanded. And the knots are well mended with wood clay glue.
Paulownia Wood Characteristics
Paulownia is light, odourless, and easily worked with.
In colour it varies from silver-grey to light brown.
It is the lightest known timber other than balsa.
It is straight grained and easy to plane to a glossy surface.
